R-Rated only!!!!!!

I've created a campaign on thepoint.com for an R-Rated only T4. You can't depict the post-apocalyptic scenes you get a glimpse of in T1, and to some extent T2, with a PG-13 rating. It has to feel like a genocide, not just a slightly edgy action movie.

R-Rated Only T4 Campaign

R-Rated

I mean how else can you truly appreciate Terminator if it isn't R-Rated. Not to mention most if not all of the true Terminator fans are old enough to see an R rated movie. Everyone should join this campaign so that we can see an amazing T4. Check out the campaign here https://www.thepoint.com/campaigns/t...4-r-rated-only

R or I Won't Go...

I think if your going to make it right, make it rated R...it needs the gory and violent scenes to stand a chance in the theaters. I joined thepoint.com campaign.

If a movie like The Dark Knight can get a PG-13, I think this film could be PG-13 and not end up lacking anything. Violence and even gore to some extent doesn't scare up higher MPAA ratings, but language and sex does. The setting here doesn't seem conducive to a sex scene and I find excessive curse words aren't really that necessary (I was one of those who thought Live Free or Die Hard was perfectly fine as a PG-13 film).

I saw the trailer. It looks like transformers with skull crushers.

I'll be voting for this too. But not because I think McG is doing some horrible job and trying to make a kiddie action movie.

Actually McG's cut is apparently an R-rated movie, and Hollywood wants him to edit some content to make it PG-13.

I saw the new trailer in front of Watchmen and in IMO, pales in comparison to T1 & T2, which will always be the best of the Terminator films hands down. This new one has the look right, but just doesn't have that same Terminator feel to it like the first two did. That's too bad because I was looking forward to this one after the crapfest that was called T3. I'll rent this on DVD someday, but I don't think I'll spend the $8 to see it in theaters. I do hope that it's successful though as it seems there are a lot of fans really looking forward to it.
