A depressing comic for sure but it's a fake.

Oh for sure... Watterson would never put that on paper.

As the parent of an ADHD kid, though, it hit way too close to home...

Yeah. I've read every actual Calvin & Hobbes and that ain't one.

However, as someone who was medicated for ADHD the first eighteen years of my life, it hits waaay too close to home.

Thanks to all those who've posted the 'rebuttal' comics- including the OP in the second post.

I love how Calvin's daughter looks like Suzie Derkins.

This is a favorite of mine (even though it gives me that "wasted my life" feeling):

The first strip posted by the OP made me so sad.

So i had to look at some classic Calvin&Hobbes to cheer me up..

I always loved the Transmogrifier.

Funny?

The entire point of the comic is destroyed by Calvin dismissing Hobbes and doing something responsible, rather than running outside and playing.

Brings a tear to my eye.

You know who is confused? Bimbos. They're easily confused. It's one of the thousand little things I love about them. I love their vacant, trusting stares; their sluggish, unencumbered minds; their unresolved daddy issues. I love them Lily, and they love me. Bimbos have always been there for me, through thick and thin;mostly thin. B-man don't do thick crust, what up!
