A native New Yorker, born to James "Bud" Wilson and Norleene Mary MacDonald,David Wilson was raised on Long Island. A scholar/athlete, his stage debut cameopposite Patti LuPone ("Evita", "Sunset Boulevard") as Emile de Becque in theirsenior production of "South Pacific" in 1967. David went on to attend ColumbiaUniversity in Manhattan. Bitten by the acting bug, he left college in thespring of 1969 to attend The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theater,where he studied with the legendary Sanford Meisner. After graduating, Davidstarted his career on the stages of New York and Chicago while moving on to TVand film. He later extended his stage, film and TV career to include work inall three disciplines in Stockholm, Sweden. Thrice married and divorced, he isthe proud father of five. Still in love with acting, he is writing andproducing for stage, screen and television.
