Aaron Martin is a Canadian writer and producer of television. In 2001, after penning on two obscure projects, he became a writer on the hit teen musical-drama "Degrassi: The Next Generation," the fourth series in the long-running Degrassi franchise, based in Canada. Martin wrote more than 50 episodes of the series over eight seasons, and, over the '04 and '05 seasons, he executive-produced 22 episodes. Among other projects, Martin co-wrote the teleplay for the feature-length drama "Selling Innocence," which starred well-known actress Mimi Rogers. In sticking with his genre specialty, Martin created the '07 teen drama "The Best Years," which was produced in Ontario, and lasted two seasons; he was a writer on every episode of the show and executive-produced 13 of them. In '09, Martin became a scribe and producer on the comedic drama "Being Erica," about a teen girl seeing a therapist who not only listens to her problems but can also send her back in time.
