In 2014, Manson joined the fifth season cast of fairytale drama "Once Upon a Time" (ABC, 2011-18) as Scottish heroine Merida and went on to play sorceress Medea in mythological fantasy "Atlantis" (BBC One, 2013-15), appear in serial killer drama "The Chameleon" (2015) and take center stage as January, an amnesiac who returns to her family estate, in mystery thriller "Estranged" (2015). Following a cameo in Danny Boyle's long-awaited sequel "T2 Trainspotting" (2017), Manson further embraced her Scottish roots with her portrayal noblewoman Cathy Gordon in Tudor period miniseries "The White Princess" (Starz, 2017) and supporting roles in Scottish Highlands adventure "Edie" (2017) and Glaswegian coming-of-age "Beats" (2019). Manson then added to her filmography with drag racing tale "Run" (2019), intimate relationship drama "Real" (2019) and franchise reboot "Doom: Annihilation" (2019), starring in the latter as Lieutenant Joan Dark. Her prolific streak continued when she was cast as murderous gang leader Maladie in Joss Whedon's Victorian-era sci-fi "The Nevers" (HBO, 2020-).
