India-born actress Anna Kashfi had a brief Hollywood film career in the mid to late 1950s. She was usually cast as an exotic beauty. In 1957, Kashfi gained notoriety for marrying Marlon Brando. It was a tumultuous unhappy union that fell apart in 1960. Kashfi made her screen comeback in 1979 with The Violent Women. Earlier that year she had written an acidic memoir of her brief marriage titled Breakfast with Brando.
