French actor Charles Gerard's earliest credit is as director of the 1958 feature Balle dans le Canon. Gerard has since appeared before the cameras in such fare as Animal (1977), Bandits (1986) and Incorrigible (1975). One of his larger assignments was as Charles in Lelouch's A Man and a Woman: 20 Years Later (1986). Charles Gerard should not be confused with British character actor Charles Gerrard, who was active in the silent and early-talkie era.
