Charles Hoffman



Screenwriter and producer Charles Hoffman started out as a fiction writer in the late 1930s. many of his popular early works became films, including The Affairs of Annabel (1938) and Her Kind of Man (1946). Around the time of the latter film, Hoffman joined the screenwriting staff at Warner Brothers were he worked alone and with other writers. At times he also worked as a producer. Hoffman switched to television in the late '50s to become the producer and head writer for the Hawaiian Eye series. He also worked on other series. In the mid '60s through the mid '70s, Hoffman became a story editor for several different series, including Batman.
