Won an Emmy for Sports Features in 1990 while at ESPN. Scored the first live interview with O.J. Simpson after Simpson's 1995 acquittal in the murder of his ex-wife and her friend. Left ESPN for Fox Sports Net in 1998. Has covered the Super Bowl, World Series, Daytona 500 and the Olympics. Noted for his NASCAR coverage; he is the author of NASCAR Is America, How Racing's Values Mirror the Nation's, which was published in 2010. Known for the phrase, "That deserves a wow."
