Dave Van Ronk was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Ronk began his career with roles in the documentary "Chords of Fame" (1984) with Bill Burnett and "Caffe Lena" (PBS, 1990-91). Later, he acted in "The History of Rock 'n' Roll" (1994-95), "Peter, Paul & Mary: Lifelines" (PBS, 1995-96) and "Bob Dylan: The American Troubadour" (1999-2000). More recently, Ronk appeared on the Kris Kristofferson documentary "The Ballad of Ramblin' Jack" (2000).
