Elaine Welton Hill
Primarily a stage actress, Elaine Welton Hill did manage to get her fair share of roles on television and in film, prior to her untimely death of ovarian cancer in late 1999. Hill arrived in Los Angeles in 1976 after completing her post-secondary education at the University of Oklahoma. Her famous costars on stage were numerous, including the likes of Lynn Redgrave, Jason Robards, and Frank Langella. Her last role was in the stage play, Lettice and Lovage, which she continued to perform while in the midst of her intensive chemotherapy treatments.
