Watching James Bond movies with his dad when he was a kid inspired him to become a filmmaker. Was on his way to becoming a doctor, but switched to nursing, and a semester later, took up mass communication. Spent six years in college without graduating because he loved being a part of the school's theater company. Started working as a teacher, offering private acting classes to his students. Founded a production company called Reality Entertainment, along with his friend Dondon Monteverde. His movie On the Job (2013) premiered at Cannes Film Festival's Director's Fortnight and won him a Best Director Award along with five other awards - Best Picture, Best Screenplay, Best Editing, Best Story, and Best Sound - at the 62nd FAMAS Awards. Runs a restaurant called F Word.
