At the tender age of five, he accompanied his grandmother to a meeting of herflamenco group, and life would never be the same again for the black-haired,brown-eyed young man. With his interest in dance so strongly awoken, hestarted with flamenco and by age 8, had started dance training at theConservatorio de Danza in Valencia. He was there for seven years, before moving on to the Catedra Alicia Alonso in1997. During his two years there, he performed in Raimonda Pas de Deux(Classical Repertoire), and A la Manera de Petipa. (Ivan Tenorio)(La Habana-Cuba). In 1999, his training continued at the Royal Conservatoire Professionalof Dance in Madrid, where he performed in Petit Ballet and Tina's Dream, bothby Juan Carlos Santamaria. Other companies he worked with during that timeinclude Victor Ullate's Ballet, the Santamaria Dance Company, Europa Danse, Ballet Des JenuesD'Europe, and in 2000, the Compañia Nacional de Danza 2. In 2001, he joinedthe English National Ballet, where he performed in such works as Trapeze, TheNutcracker, Swan Lake, Giselle, Romeo and Juliet, and Copelia. When the opportunity to act came to him in 2003, the 5'10", slender dancer was granted six months' leave from the ENB to work on hisfirst film, Alexander. The details of this and other films can be found in hisfilmography. Apparently, acting agreed with him, because he has now left theENB to pursue a full-time acting career. He can currently be seen in theWraeththu Picture Book, Nina's Heavenly Delights, and The Curse of King Tut'sTomb, with House of Boys soon to follow in his future.
