The new documentary HARRY BENSON: SHOOT FIRST chronicles the 65 year career of the award-winning photographer who came to America with the Beatles and decided to stay. Harry Benson has photographed every president from Eisenhower to Obama including president-elect Donald Trump. Harry marched with Martin Luther King during the Civil Rights movement and has been at the center of major world events including the starvation in Somalia, the assassination of Senator Robert Kennedy, the conflict in Afghanistan and the Gulf War. Harry has photographed countless celebrities including Jack Nicholson, Kate Moss, Greta Garbo, Elizabeth Taylor, Princess Diana, Amy Winehouse, Brad Pitt, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and Queen Elizabeth 11. There have been 40 gallery/museum solo exhibitions and sixteen books of his photographs have been published including the recently released HARRY BENSON:THE BEATLES ON THE ROAD 1964-1966 (Taschen). Harry has won countless awards and in 2009 was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for service to photography.
