American silent-screen comedian Harry Booker was likely the most august member of the Sennett comics working at Keystone in the mid-1910s. Booker was often teamed with Charlie Murray and the wonderful Louise Fazenda, the three of them romping through farces such as The Great Vacuum Robbery (1915), A Love Riot (1916), and Her Fame and Shame (1917). Before entering films, Booker had been half of vaudeville's "Canfield & Booker." Canfield was future screen actor William Canfield, a bit-part player who was killed in 1925 by falling into an elevator shaft.
