Helen O'Connell

Helen O'Connell was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. O'Connell started her entertainment career by acting in comedies like "I Dood It" (1943) with Red Skelton and Eleanor Powell. She had a part on the television special "The Swingin' Years" (NBC, 1959-1960). In the seventies and the nineties, O'Connell devoted her time to various credits, such as "A Summer Without Boys" (ABC, 1973-74), "Fantasm" (1977) and "From Here to Eternity" (1978-79). She also worked on "Today at 35" (NBC, 1986-87) and "Echoes of the Big Bands With Merv Griffin" (PBS, 1989-1990). O'Connell more recently appeared in "Those Fabulous 40's" (PBS, 1991-92). O'Connell was married to Frank DeVol.
