Ian Tyson worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Tyson worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "The Ian Tyson Show" and "Payday" (1972) starring Rip Torn. Later, he acted in the Michael Benard adventure "Alias Will James" (1988), "Cowboys of the Americas" (Disney, 1993-94) and "Elko: A Cowboy Gathering" (PBS, 1994-95). More recently, Tyson appeared on the documentary "Neil Young: Heart of Gold" (2006) with Neil Young.
