A brunette starlet of the late '20s, Ivy Harris was groomed for stardom at Paramount's much publicized "School of Acting," a short-lived publicity gimmick that also helped boost the careers of Charles "Buddy" Rogers, Thelma Todd, Jack Luden, and Roland Drew. Harris starred in the "Class of 1926's" "graduation project," Fascinating Youths (1926), in which she played a girl artist aiding society scion Charles Buddy Rogers to refurbish a dilapidated mountain resort. Despite this promising beginning, however, Harris' subsequent roles were less than stellar and she left films prior to sound.
