Jack Pickford was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In 1917, he had the title role in the silent film "Tom Sawyer," directed by William Desmond Taylor. In his early acting career, Pickford appeared in such films as "The Ghost House" (1917), "Huck and Tom" (1918) and "The Little Shepherd of Kingdom Come" (1920). He also appeared in "The Man Who Had Everything" (1920). In the twenties, Pickford devoted his time to various credits, such as "Just Out of College" (1921), "Little Lord Fauntleroy" (1921) and "Through the Back Door" (1921). He also worked on "Hollywood" (1923). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "The Hill Billy" (1924), "Brown of Harvard" (1926) and "Exit Smiling" (1926). Pickford last acted in the Andre DeBeranger adaptation "The Bat" (1926). Pickford was married to Marilyn Miller. Pickford passed away in January 1933 at the age of 37.
