Jacob Tierney has been working as a professional actor since the age of seven. Tierney won a YTV Achievement award for Best Actor for CBC's Straight Up and guest starred on the television shows The Hunger for Showtime- Executive Produced by Tony Scott and Ridley Scott and CBS's Touched By An Angel.Tierney's wrote, directed and acted in his first short film Dad, which co-starred Tygh Runyan, Jaqueline McClintock and Emily Hampshire, and received an honorable mention at the Atlantic Film Festival. His other screenplays include The Lonely Planet and The Trotsky, is an absurdist-political high school comedy and has been given development financing by Movie Central, and is being story edited by Noel Baker.
