Jan Howard was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Howard began her career with roles in "Country Music Hit Parade" (1976-77), "The 60th Anniversary of the Grand Ole Opry" (CBS, 1985-86) and "The Women of Country" (CBS, 1992-93). She then acted in "Grand Ole Opry Live Christmas" (1994-95), "America's Music: The Roots of Country" (TBS, 1995-96) and "Christmas Country's Family Reunion" (The Nashville Network, 1998-99). She also appeared in "Country's Family Reunion & the Young 'Uns" (The Nashville Network, 1999-2000) and "Grand Ole Opry 75th -- A Celebration" (CBS, 2000-01). More recently, Howard acted in the Lauren Holly comedic drama "Changing Hearts" (2003).
