Jeremy was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. He received a BFA from Ithaca College in 2007 and moved to NYC shortly after graduating. In 2009, he booked his first Broadway show, Rock of Ages. He was a swing understudying several roles, including the lead. In December of 2009, he decided to leave Rock of Ages to play Tony in West Side Story on Wednesday evenings and Sunday matinees. Upon leaving West Side Story, Jeremy traveled to Sarasota, Florida to play Clyde Barrow in Bonnie & Clyde. After a successful month run, he then headed to Atlanta, Georgia to film his first feature film, Joyful Noise. Todd Graff, who wrote and directed the film, happened to be at Jeremy's very first performance at Rock of Ages and cast him in the movie. In the Fall of 2011, Jeremy got to fulfill a childhood dream when he was cast as Jack Kelly in Disney's world premiere production of Newsies. While Jeremy was enjoying playing Jack Kelly at night, during the day he was rehearsing for Bonnie & Clyde which would come to Broadway shortly after Newsies finished its run. In November of 2011, Jeremy got to originate his first leading role on Broadway in Bonnie & Clyde; once again he got to play Clyde Barrow. Sadly, the production would close after only 69 performances (and Jeremy didn't miss a single performance). Shortly after Bonnie & Clyde's closing, Jeremy announced he would be returning to Newsies to play Jack Kelly at the Nederlander theatre in March 2012.
