Jimmy Rowles



Jimmy Rowles made his name as a jazz pianist and composer who worked with such greats as Benny Goodman, Woody Herman, Tommy Dorsey and Tony Bennett. In the late '50s, he began composing music for television shows such as The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis. At the same time, Rowles began a two-decade-long collaboration with composer Henry Mancini. During the '80s, Rowles performed with Ella Fitzgerald.
