She recommend him for casting in both _Judgement in Stone, A (1986)_ and Anne of Green Gables (1985) (TV). Needless to say, he won both roles, but it is the role of Gilbert Blythe that won him recognition and is the role for which he is best loved.Jonathan graduated from University of Toronto's Victoria College in 1995. His numerous performances at the prestigious Stratford Festival Theatre are a given.
