American supporting actress June Clayworth started out playing leads in "B"-movies. She broke into films after being spotted by Carl Laemmle, Jr. in the Broadway production Are You Decent? In 1934 she signed to Universal and debuted in William Wyler's The Good Fairy the following year. Clayworth married RKO producer Sid Roger in 1938 and afterward she retired until the mid 1940s when she appeared in many films.
