Kevin Ruf was an accomplished actor, noted for his comedic timing in his roles for television shows. Kevin Ruf began his acting career with roles in sitcoms like "Seinfeld" (NBC, 1989-1998), "Friends" (NBC, 1994-2004) and "3rd Rock From the Sun" (NBC, 1995-2001). He also appeared in "Spin City" (1996-2002) and "Jenny" (NBC, 1997-98). He continued to work steadily in sitcoms throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing on "Battery Park" (NBC, 1999-2000), "Curb Your Enthusiasm" (HBO, 2000-2011) and "The Weber Show" (NBC, 2000-01). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Ultimate Trek: Star Trek's Greatest Moments" (UPN, 1999-2000) and "Uncomfortably Close With Michael McKean: Jerry Stiller" (Comedy Central, 1999-2000). Additionally, he later acted in the dramatic comedy "The Curve" (1998) with Matthew Lillard. More recently, he tackled roles on "According to Jim" (2001-09), "Reno 911!" (Comedy Central, 2002-09) and "Significant Others" (Bravo, 2003-05). He also acted in films like "Whatever It Takes" (2000) and the Jim Carrey hit crime adaptation "Fun With Dick and Jane" (2005). Kevin Ruf most recently acted on "Halfway Home" (Comedy Central, 2006-07).
