Renowned actress Leanza Cornett has carved out an amazing career starring in television movies and specials. She also appeared in "In a New Light '93" (ABC, 1993-94). Cornett worked in television around the start of her acting career with a role on "Entertainment Tonight" (1981-2013). In the nineties, Cornett devoted her time to various credits, such as "The Miss America Pageant" (NBC, 1993-94), "Treasure Island: The Adventure Begins" (NBC, 1993-94) and "From the Academy Awards" (1995-96). She also worked on "Ordinary Extraordinary" (CBS, 1996-97). She held additional roles in television including a part on "The Tick" (Fox, 2001-02). Additionally, she could be seen on a variety of television specials like "Animal Planet National Dog Championships: Kansas City" (Animal Planet, 2000-01) and "Homes of Miss America" (HGTV, 2001-02). Most recently, Cornett worked on "AKC/Eukanuba National Championship" (Discovery Channel, 2009-2010). Cornett's husband was Mark Steines. Leanza Cornett died on October 28, 2020 at the age of 49.
