Marie Quillan - Rotten Tomatoes

Marie Quillan

The sister of comic actor Eddie Quillan, Marie Quillan turned up in quite a few early talkies, usually playing rather saucy characters. Although a native of Philadelphia, Quillan did her fair share of low-budget Westerns, including two with Lane Chandler and one with Tom Keene. In one of the more unusual assignments of any B-Western heroine, Quillan nearly suffocated to death in an Egyptian casket in Arizona Nights (1934), a bizarre entry in Bernard B. Ray's Bud'n Ben series about a gang smuggling ancient mummies across the border from Mexico.
