Actor Mark Lowenthal appeared in a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. He had a part on the television special "The Man Who Was Death" (HBO, 1988-89). He also appeared in the TV movie "The Hollywood Detective" (USA, 1989-1990). He also landed roles in various films, such as the Jeff Daniels comedy "Checking Out" (1989) and "Scenes From the Class Struggle in Beverly Hills" (1989). He next focused his entertainment career on film, appearing in the Dolph Lundgren sci-fi picture "I Come in Peace" (1990), the dramatic comedy "Postcards From the Edge" (1990) with Meryl Streep and "Iron Maze" (1991) with Jeff Fahey. He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Commish" (1991-95). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Darryl Tevis" (NBC, 1990-91) and "The Owl" (CBS, 1990-91). In the nineties, he then appeared in the dramedy "Article 99" (1992) with Ray Liotta, the musical drama "Newsies" (1992) with Christian Bale and the drama "Mr. Jones" (1993) with Richard Gere. He also appeared in the Michael Keaton drama "My Life" (1993) and the Jack Lemmon comedy adventure "My Fellow Americans" (1996). He also was featured in the TV movie "Roadracers" (Showtime, 1993-94). Lowenthal most recently acted in "Where the Elephant Sits" (1998).
