Actor Michael McGill was known for his roles on the silver screen. He also appeared in the TV movie "Deadly Surveillance" (Showtime, 1991-92). He also landed roles in various films, such as "Backstab" (1990) with James Brolin. He continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties, appearing in the David Hewlett horror sequel "Scanners II: the New Order" (1991), "Canvas" (1992) with Gary Busey and the Christopher Lambert action picture "Highlander III: The Final Dimension" (1995). He also landed a role in the miniseries "Hiroshima" (1994-95). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Zelda" (TNT, 1993-94). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "ER" (NBC, 1994-2009). McGill more recently acted in the comedy adaptation "Mother Night" (1996) with Nick Nolte.
