Neil Fitzgerald was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Fitzgerald started off his career in film with roles in the Boris Karloff comedy "Bride of Frankenstein" (1935), "Charlie Chan in Shanghai" (1935) and "The Informer" (1935) with Victor McLaglen. Fitzgerald next focused his career on film, appearing in "The Plough and the Stars" (1936) with Barbara Stanwyck, the biopic "Parnell" (1937) with Clark Gable and "The Thirteenth Chair" (1937). He also appeared in "Bulldog Drummond in Africa" (1938), the Marilyn Monroe crime flick "Niagara" (1953) and the Gregory Peck mystery thriller "Mirage" (1965). Later in his career, Fitzgerald acted in the fantastical comedy "Savages" (1972) with Lewis J Stadlen. Fitzgerald passed away in June 1982 at the age of 90.
