Nick Marck is predominantly known as a director for television, although he got his start in showbiz working as an assistant director on the original incarnation of the cult science fiction show "Battlestar Galactica" in 1978. He also worked as an assistant director on the series "Starman," based on the John Carpenter film of the same name, but made the leap to chief directorial duties for two episodes. More television work followed, as he directed episodes for a variety of television programs like the family show "The Wonder Years," the eccentric comedy "Northern Exposure," and the science fiction/horror sensation "The X-Files." In 1995, Marck produced and directed a number of episodes for a new version of "Get Smart," again starring Don Adams in his most famous role as Agent Maxwell Smart. He also directed several episodes for Joss Whedon's influential, groundbreaking show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and one episode for its spin-off show "Angel." In 2004, he joined another cult television show, "Veronica Mars," directing a number of episodes over the course of its short run. After brief stints as a director on the college comedy "Greek" and the the teen drama reboot "90210," Marck hemled episodes of the drama "Life Unexpected" in 2010.
