Ray Martin worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. In his early acting career, Martin appeared in such films as "The Green Pastures" (1936), "The Duke Is Tops" (1938) with Ralph Cooper Sr. and the Harlee McBride romance "Young Lady Chatterley" (1976). He also appeared in "The Baltimore Bullet" (1980). Martin also contributed music to "Blonde Sinner" (1956) and the comedy "The Hoax" (1972) with Bill Ewing. In the nineties, Martin devoted his time to various credits, such as "Doc Hollywood" (1991) starring Michael J. Fox, "Showdown in Little Tokyo" with Dolph Lundgren (1991) and "True Identity" (1991) starring Lenny Henry. He also worked on "Falling From Grace" with John Mellencamp (1992). Martin continued to exercise his talent in the nineties, taking on a mix of projects like "Deception" with Andie MacDowell (1993), "Sommersby" (1993) starring Richard Gere and "The Saint of Fort Washington" (1993).
