Robbie Brenner was an American film producer who worked with a lengthy roster of indie film talent on various projects, her most celebrated success coming alongside Rachel Winter on the Academy Award-nominated "Dallas Buyers Club" (2013), the film which revitalized Matthew McConaughey's career as a dramatic leading man. Her most high-profile position was as president of production at the West Hollywood-based Relativity Media, a company she joined in 2009. At Relativity, she produced or executive produced such action films as the Gerard Butler-starring "Machine Gun Preacher" (2011), the Stallone and Schwarzenegger vehicle "Escape Plan" (2013) and the Christian Bale-starring "Out of the Furnace" (2014), as well as "21 and Over" (2013), a college comedy from the writers of "The Hangover" (2009). A graduate of New York University's Tisch School of Arts in film, Brenner began her career at Mickey Rourke's Red Ruby Productions, working her way up to production and development executive at Miramax, Davis Entertainment's classics division and Senior Vice President of Production at Twentieth Century Fox. During this time perhaps her most high-profile production credit was on sci-fi thriller "Alien vs Predator: Requiem" (2007) for Davis, while at Relativity she also oversaw Oscar nominee "The Fighter" (2010). As well as the critical acclaim which met "Dallas Buyers Club," the film also saw Brenner and Winter lauded for their resourcefulness in sticking to a modest and inflexible four million dollar budget.
