Robert Gillespie rose to fame as an actor, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Early on, Gillespie landed roles in comedic films like "Otley" (1969) with Tom Courtenay and Romy Schneider, "A Severed Head" (1970) with Lee Remick and Richard Attenborough and "Catch Me a Spy" (1971) with Kirk Douglas and Marlene Jobert.
