American child actor Robert "Rusty" Stevens was born in Boston, Massachusetts. Despite a short career, Stevens would be remembered for generations for his role as Larry Mondello in "Leave it to Beaver" (CBS, 1957-63). He also appeared in the film "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" (1958) and would return years later to reprise his iconic role in the television reunion movie "Still the Beaver" (1983).
