Spike Feresten - Rotten Tomatoes

Spike Feresten

Pursued comedy writing after being evicted from his college dorm for dropping fluorescent light bulbs out of a window just to watch them shatter on the sidewalk and then later seeing David Letterman perform the same stunt on TV. Passed jokes to Dennis Miller while working as a receptionist for Saturday Night Live. Nicknamed Spike while at SNL because of his spiked hair. Wrote for David Letterman for five years. Wrote "The Soup Nazi" episode of Seinfeld. Hosted his own talk show on Fox for three seasons (2006-2009).
