Tad Hilgenbrinck (born 1981) is an American actor from Quincy, Illinois, best knownfor his role as Matt Stifler in American Pie: Band Camp. He was chosen for MattStifler due to the resemblance of Seann William Scott. He is also set to appear inthe 2006 film The Curiosity of Chance, a movie in which he stars as a high schoolstudent who moved to a new school and must learn to fit in. Hilgenbrinck attended Quincy Senior High School, where he was an actively involvedin music and theater. He has a BFA Musical Theatre and Dance minor from MillikinUniversity and IES London. Tad has performed in roles such as The Artful Dodger inOliver!, Gideon in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and Chuck Cranston in Footloose.Tad polished his creative craft, studying Shakespeare intensively in London and hasstarred in multiple theatrical pieces including A Midsummer's Night Dream, Chicago,and Oliver.After many successful performances in New York and London, Tad ventured to LosAngeles giving himself only two weeks to make it or go home.
