Ted Stanhope was an actor who founded his entertainment career success with roles in film. Stanhope began his career with roles in "Between Midnight and Dawn" (1950), "High Noon" (1952) and "The Big Heat" (1953). He went on to act in "Suddenly" (1954), the Edward G Robinson crime adaptation "Illegal" (1955) and the Sterling Hayden western "Terror in a Texas Town" (1958). He also appeared in "The Twilight Zone" (CBS, 1959-1964). Later in his career, Stanhope acted in the drama "A Gathering of Eagles" (1963) with Rock Hudson. Stanhope passed away in July 1977 at the age of 75.
