      Tom Harmon was an actor who graced the silver screen many times throughout his Hollywood career. Harmon began his acting career appearing in various films, such as "Harmon of Michigan" (1941), "Triple Threat" (1948) and the comedy "That's My Boy" (1951) with Dean Martin. He also appeared in the Marshall Thomson sports "The Rose Bowl Story" (1952) and "Off Limits" (1953) with Bob Hope. He continued to work steadily in film throughout the fifties and the seventies, appearing in the Tony Curtis drama "The All American" (1953), the comedy "The Caddy" (1953) with Dean Martin and the John Derek drama "An Annapolis Story" (1955). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Ozzie's Girls" (1973-74). In the seventies through the nineties, Harmon lent his talents to projects like "Return to Campus" (1975) starring Earl Keyes, "Off Sides" (NBC, 1983-84) and "Revenge" (1990) starring Kevin Costner. His credits also expanded to "Flight of the Intruder" (1991). Most recently, Harmon appeared on "Maternity Ward: The Human Touch" (TLC, 2001-02).
