Tyron Leitso was allowed a lot of creatice freedom as he was growing up and he loved to build things. Things like tree forts, bicycles and eventually a log cabin, which he and his mother and brother actually lived in for three years. He was 18 years old when a talent scout stopped him on the street and suggested there might be a future in commercials. It wasn't an immediate decision, but it didn't take him too long to decide he'd go for it. As he built a portfolio from modeling and commercials, he began to think about acting. Leitso enrolled in some courses and after working as an extra on many of Vancouver-based TV shows, such as X-Files and Millennium.
