William Lynn

Making a much belated screen debut two years before his death, veteran vaudeville and Broadway star William Lynn played the very understanding Judge Omar Gaffney in the 1950 screen version of Harvey. A song-and-dance man in the 1910s, Lynn already played spry old gentlemen by the 1930s, when he was featured as the little fellow adept at picking winners in Three Men on a Horse. The comedy enjoyed a healthy 500-performance Broadway run from 1935-1936 and made Lynn a household name.
