Biography:
Daniel Gallant is the Executive Director of the Nuyorican Poets Cafe and the Director of Arts Japan 2020. He reviews film for Time Out New York; his writing has also appeared in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Post, the Huffington Post, six anthologies from Vintage Books and elsewhere. He is the recipient of an Eisenhower Fellowship and fellowships from National Arts Strategies and the Devos Institute; in 2018, he was named to the Fulbright Specialist roster. He has been featured in the New York Times, Forbes, Adweek, Crains New York, Time Out New York, the New York Post, New York Magazine, and on CNN, NPR, NY1, PBS and elsewhere.
