1-5 90% 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) I couldn't help but see the very visible thread line where the original film ended and the new ending was tacked on to make it a Cloverfield film. - EDIT

1-5 67% Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (2016) As I was an infantry soldier in Afghanistan, the situational comedy related to Fey being in danger, or experiencing some mild hardship was just too slight. I kept wanting to say to the film, "Hell, that's nothing..." - EDIT

1-5 26% London Has Fallen (2016) London Has Fallen is simply the latest in the tradition of "Die Hard in a..." films. In this instance, it's Die Hard set in London. And that's it. The film doesn't have much else. - EDIT

1-5 84% Deadpool (2016) Complaints about the smallness of the film aside, it's also a helluva a lot of fun to see Deadpool in a hard 'R.' - EDIT

1-5 51% 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers Of Benghazi (2016) It leaves out the politics and lets us, the audience, get a vicarious thrill out transforming the worst day in someone's life into entertainment. Yes, American flags will flap in slow motion to a swelling musical score. - EDIT

1-5 92% Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015) Another Death Star-like super weapon?! When will the Empire learn to quit designing them with weak spots where a few well aimed strikes can destroy the entire thing! - EDIT

1-5 76% Lone Survivor (2014) This is war at its most thrilling! - EDIT

1-5 91% Full Metal Jacket (1987) One of the classics of war cinema, it's not nearly as good as its legend suggests. But it's pretty good. - EDIT

1-5 72% Interstellar (2014) This is a film rife with mistakes that even a rookie director wouldn't make. How this ended up being made by Nolan blows my mind. - EDIT

73% Everest (2015) Great film with few flaws. Though I didn't realise that one of the few people to die on the mountain was even in the film until the last scene of the movie. Perhaps a bit more time on some of the supporting cast would have helped. - EDIT

1-5 Stars 93% Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation (2015) The latest in the Mission Impossible franchise suffers from having its impossible missions made lame by impossible product sourcing, imagined techno-fixes, and apparently endless resources despite Cruise's Hunt supposedly being on the run. - EDIT

1-5 26% Terminator Genisys (2015) This film pretends as if Terminator 3 and 4 never existed, it ignores the rules previously established in the Terminator Universe, and when you plot it out, none of it makes any sense. Boy, I sure did hate this movie. - EDIT

1-5 72% Jurassic World (2015) Dinosaurs escape, people get eaten. Same old story but with bigger dinosaurs; fun but fleeting. - EDIT
