H Is for Hawk (2025) 77% 3/5 EDIT “Claire Foy is always watchable in any role, but this grief drama is a bit plodding, preventing the film from soaring as high as it could be.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Jan 21, 2026 Full Review The Rip (2026) 80% 3/5 EDIT “While Carnahan’s writing and direction aren’t always firing on all cylinders, it does hit the mark at times. Having Damon and Affleck portray longtime friends whose trust and loyalties are put to the test works really well here.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Jan 20, 2026 Full Review Marty Supreme (2025) 93% 2.5/5 EDIT “Chalamet really gives his all in this role, but this is a frenetic, exasperating ride. Even though he's on screen for nearly the entire 2.5-hour runtime, we still don't learn much about Marty, and the female characters are even less developed.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Jan 15, 2026 Full Review Greenland 2: Migration (2026) 50% 2/5 EDIT “A drab and dull sequel that squanders its narrative potential, packed with cliched dialogue, lackluster action, and familiar apocalyptic scenarios. It also takes itself so seriously that it’s ironically comical.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Jan 9, 2026 Full Review Goodbye June (2025) 65% 3.5/5 EDIT “The plot might be predictable, and some scenes feel overly schmaltzy, but Winslet’s direction brings in some heartfelt surprises. Mirren and Flynn are the MVPs in this impressive cast.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Jan 8, 2026 Full Review The Chronology of Water (2025) 90% 3/5 EDIT “Stewart dives into a trippy and experimental vibe with her debut film. It can feel a bit choppy and disjointed at times, but Imogen Poots’ captivating performance truly brings the film together.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Jan 8, 2026 Full Review Father Mother Sister Brother (2025) 81% 3.5/6 EDIT “Jarmusch captures the reality that family dynamics can be awkward, sad, deceptive, and messy… the situations are familiar, but the stellar cast makes this triptych amusing to watch.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Jan 7, 2026 Full Review The Secret Agent (2025) 98% 4/5 EDIT “A tense, vivid, surreal journey during Brazil’s ‘time of mischief’ that makes one reflect on the weight of the past and the elusive nature of memory. Wagner Moura is absolutely magnetic in a restrained performance. ” – FlixChatter Film Blog Dec 31, 2025 Full Review David (2025) 76% 3/5 EDIT “Visually stunning with memorable songs, but the narrative takes too many creative liberties and tones down the warrior side of David. The production quality is definitely on par with animated films from big studios.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Dec 29, 2025 Full Review The Mastermind (2025) 90% 2.5/5 EDIT “The idea of an unconventional, minimalist heist film is intriguing, but this one tests my patience quite a bit, even with the immensely watchable O’Connor on screen for most of it.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Dec 22, 2025 Full Review Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025) 66% 2.5/5 EDIT “Not exactly a fresh chapter for Pandora, the visuals are still glorious, but the narrative is stuck in a loop. No matter how stunning the visuals are, the excessive 3+ hours of runtime to convey the same plot is absurd.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Dec 18, 2025 Full Review Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery (2025) 92% 3.5/5 EDIT “The faith-infused mystery still keeps me on my toes, even if the guessing game isn’t as enjoyable as the previous films. O'Connor is the MVP here, but plenty of wasted talent amongst the star-studded ensemble.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Dec 16, 2025 Full Review Rebuilding (2025) 93% 4/5 EDIT “A little film that leaves a huge impression; the power lies in its authentic narrative and performances. Walker-Silverman creates a heartfelt and moving homage to his cherished state and the resilience of its people.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Dec 12, 2025 Full Review Kiss of the Spider Woman (2025) 77% 3/5 EDIT “While Lopez garners the most attention, it's Luna and Tonatiuh who are the MVPs. Tonatiuh is a revelation here, but the musical numbers and the songs didn't leave much of an impression.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Dec 11, 2025 Full Review If I Had Legs I'd Kick You (2025) 92% 2.5/5 EDIT “Byrne gives a strong performance here, and she’s the reason the movie stays watchable. I applaud Bronstein's ambition, but this is an endurance test I don't ever want to go through again.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Dec 8, 2025 Full Review Rosemead (2025) 89% 3.5/5 EDIT “Glad Liu's finally offered her first dramatic lead role as she's proven her mettle. Directed with sensitivity by Eric Lin, the ending floored me and stayed long after the credits rolled.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Dec 8, 2025 Full Review Train Dreams (2025) 95% 4/5 EDIT “This beautiful, meditative film offers respite from frantic, bustling movies, making us reflect on life’s unpredictability, nature, and our interconnectedness. Edgerton delivers a soulful, career-best performance.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Dec 5, 2025 Full Review Zootopia 2 (2025) 91% 4/5 EDIT “The original sets a high bar, but the sequel meets it thanks to a clever script and great voice cast. It smartly builds on the potent social themes while still keeping its fun, adventurous spirit. ” – FlixChatter Film Blog Dec 4, 2025 Full Review Love+War (2025) 100% 4/5 EDIT “It’s a gripping and intense film that captures the horrors of war, but also has moments of familial joy and tenderness. Love+War perfectly captures the two contrasting realms Lynsey Addario constantly navigates.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Dec 1, 2025 Full Review Hamnet (2025) 86% 4.5/5 EDIT “A heart-wrenching, indelible work of art; Zhao's depiction of grief is so profoundly moving. Mescal is great, but the film truly belongs to Buckley with her raw, piercing performance.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Nov 28, 2025 Full Review Eternity (2025) 77% 2.5/5 EDIT “The world-building is more enjoyable than the love triangle we've seen time and again. Despite the intriguing concept, it feels like a wasted opportunity for a profound and enduring love story.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Nov 26, 2025 Full Review Wicked: For Good (2025) 66% 2.5/5 EDIT “Erivo & Grande still deliver great performances, and Bailey is appropriately fiery in terms of allure, but the songs aren't as memorable. The whole story would have been much better off as just one movie” – FlixChatter Film Blog Nov 23, 2025 Full Review Rental Family (2025) 87% 4/5 EDIT “Fraser is perfectly cast as a gentle and good-natured expat in this touching and funny fish-out-of-water tale. Hikari beautifully showcases the essence of human connection and chosen family.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Nov 20, 2025 Full Review The Running Man (2025) 62% 2.5/5 EDIT “A lively popcorn action flick that’s entertaining enough for a little over two hours, but ultimately forgettable. Powell did his best, but the vibrant energy of the first two acts fizzles out by the third.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Nov 17, 2025 Full Review Sentimental Value (2025) 97% 4.5/5 EDIT “Trier beautifully exemplifies how art can help us heal, but that notion isn't forced upon us. When healing occurs, it feels like a natural progression that unfolds organically. ” – FlixChatter Film Blog Nov 14, 2025 Full Review
