No Score Yet Hercules: Season 1 (TV, 1998-1999) The Hercules animated series managed to capture some of the magic from the film, and though the animation quality doesn't quite stack up, this cartoon continuation was a heck of a lot of fun. - CBR EDIT

No Score Yet The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog: Season 1 (TV, 1993) The series definitely has its merits but overall, the random and senseless humor can't compare to the beauty that was the Saturday morning Sonic, especially when removing the nostalgia glasses. - CBR EDIT

67% The Awesomes: Season 1 (TV, 2013-2015) The Awesomes features some great nods to classic superhero storytelling, playing with tropes and cliches while balancing an overarching story over each season. - CBR EDIT

75% The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no taizai): Season 1 (TV, 2014-2018) There are tons of great fights, interesting and endearingly strange characters, and the animation and designs of the series are brilliant. If you're looking for a great gateway anime, Netflix has provided a basic, but exciting answer in Seven Deadly Sins. - CBR EDIT

No Score Yet Dragon Ball: King Piccolo Saga (TV, 1995) The King Piccolo Saga is one of the most revolutionary story arcs in all of Dragon Ball. Not only did it further the focus on action and martial arts, but it also introduces the franchise's first ultra-powerful villain that stood as the focus of a saga. - CBR EDIT

No Score Yet Dragon Ball: Red Ribbon Army Saga (TV, 1995) It combined the martial arts focus that the series had shifted towards with the adventure elements that it started with, throwing in a lot of fun fights along the way... It's a really well-written and interesting saga that sometimes gets overlooked. - CBR EDIT

100% Dragon Ball: Emperor Pilaf Saga (TV, 1995) The Emperor Pilaf Saga definitely has hits merits, it's funny, it has great adventure storytelling and it's a lot of fun, but in the larger scale of Dragon Ball, it doesn't stack up to the likes of the Saiyan Saga or the Universal Survival Saga. - CBR EDIT

No Score Yet Dragon Ball Z: Season 9 (TV, 1996) What it lacked in some originality and nuance, it more than made up for in awesome battles and satisfying story elements. - CBR EDIT

78% Dragon Ball Z: Season 1 (TV, 1996) Learning that Goku had an alien background was such a great shakeup to the franchise, as it helped breathe new life into the story. It also lead to one of the single greatest battles in all of Dragon Ball, Goku and Vegeta's first fight against each other. - CBR EDIT

100% Dragon Ball Z: Season 3 (TV, 1996) It would have been a flawless end to the franchise... The Frieza Saga is still an achievement in storytelling in every sense of the word; the buildup and structure are fantastic, as is the saga's villain. - CBR EDIT

100% Gurren Lagann: Season 1 (TV, 2008) Fairy Tail has a lot of fist-in-the-air moments, but the ones featured in Gurren Lagann hit HARD, and themes of never giving up are made more powerful by the fact that the mechs in the series are powered by literal fighting spirit. - CBR EDIT

63% Ed, Edd n Eddy: Season 1 (TV, 1999-2008) Ed, Edd n Eddy is easily one of the best comedy cartoons of all time. It brought classic slapstick cartoon comedy into modern animation and is looked back on as one of Cartoon Network's greatest original programs. - CBR EDIT

100% Dragon Ball Super: Season 4 (TV, 2017) Getting to see an evil version of Goku was super interesting, as was getting to see Future Trunks return to the franchise. This saga also featured some great animation in the final battles. - CBR EDIT

63% Dragon Ball Super: Season 1 (TV, 2017) The original movie [Battle of the Gods] is fantastic... but the way it was rehashed into Super was pretty subpar. The small changes made to the story weren't enough to justify it being retold. - CBR EDIT

No Score Yet Dragon Ball Super: Season 3 (TV, 2017) The Hit/Goku fight is cool, but the rest of the fights are weird and somewhat boring, with bad animation rounding out the arc's flaws. - CBR EDIT
