Manavjeet P @ManavPatil999 Jul 11 10.0 Earthquake tries to shake up the disaster genre but ends up collapsing under the weight of its own ridiculousness. The plot follows a fracking operation that somehow triggers massive tremors along the San Andreas Fault, leaving it up to a ragtag group of characters to save Los Angeles. The science is completely fabricated, the dialogue is incredibly cheesy, and the CGI looks like it was rushed through Microsoft Paint. Furthermore, the bizarre casting choices—including a clearly adult actress playing a high schooler—will have you laughing for all the wrong reasons. Unless you are looking for a hilariously bad "so bad it's good" popcorn movie to mock with friends, this low-budget disaster flick is entirely skippable. Why wouldn't the police, for example, shut down the drill? Why did she need to steal an ID? Does no one in this city have each other's phone number?
