Group of California high schoolers travel to the brothels of Tijuana in this PORKY's inspired film. Film takes place in the 60s and 80s title theme seems out of place with the film. Beats the low-standards of most of its peers which is largely due to a good cast.

ok teen sex comedy from the director of 'la confidental"

Silly teen movie, starring Young Tom Cruise, with no wit or humor (except from the scene in the Pharmacy). For Tom's fans only.

You'll note one reviewers offense: "Inoffensive of this kind (except for the usual array of stock Mexicans), but wholly unoriginal." Zero problem with teenage sex, mass theft, prostitution, or various law-breaking; but problems with Mexican stereotypes. That says everything about these PC dirtbags.

Horribly raunchy. This is stupid beyond belief. Painfully difficult to watch, most of the time. Jackie Earle Haley was stomach-churningly repugnant. Even Cruise can't save it. Awkward relationship. The Mexican cop was one of the most hateful villains ever. There was great satisfaction in his eventual defeat. the highlight of the movie. The prison story-line was pretty interesting, too. The ending is more satisfactory than expected -- certainly than the rest of the movie.

wow, Ethan Hawke's older brother from Explorers plays the wimp, here. Shocking.

When Mexican and teenage stereotypes, a beautiful middle-aged woman, lame nudity, car chases, a bunch of implausible settings and an ever-virginal Tom Cruise collide, you get this. It is not a good mix, though it does have moments.

Another horrible teen romp film from the 80's! Tom Cruise is useless in this poorly thought out movie. There is an occasional laugh or two, but they are not enough to save the story from disaster.

The whole gambit of a Tijuana experience Spanish fly, popping your cherry, firecrackers, prostitutes, bribing corrupt police Mexican jail with Tom Cruise! yeeeeah!

Three high school friends and one little brother drive south to Tiajuana in this coming of age film set in the early 1960s. Cruise would go on to become a superstar but does not really standout here. Felt like a Porky's cash in, liked that one a bit better.

A bit like Blame It On Rio, the ending leaves you feeling a bit betrayed. The trip has many twists and turns but none are enjoyable, every character seems to go through some sort of torment and nobody but Woody really seems to have had any fun. Jackie Earle Haley is hilarious and is responsible for most of the comedic moments, which are few and far between in this "comedy"

Teen sex comedy takes place in Tijuana with the usual hijinks. One of Tom Cruise's first movies he is pretty bland in this but Shelley Long is quite good and Jackie Earle Haley is pretty funny.

This teen drama/comedy/adventure is fun for the most part and it has some good actors too, but it could be better, funnier mostly, but also it needs to be a bit more intense maybe? A different director maybe? I'm not sure, but it's pretty good the way it is.

A poor teen comedy about four adolescence boys heading south to Mexico to attain their goal of losing their virginity

An interesting and funny look at teenage love and angst as a group of guys go on a trip to Mexico in the 60s.

Billed as "Porki 3" in Brazil this Porky's knock-off features Tom Cruise, Shelley Long and the guy who plays Freddy Krueger in the Nightmare remake roadtrippin' to Tijuana circa 1960's to "lose it". I enjoyed it despite it being a blatant rip-off.

Insipid junk notable only for early appearances of Tom Cruise and Shelley Long, that's NOT enough to sit through this.
