Excellent stuff. It's not often you can say an apparent rape is committed to film beautifully but in this case it was. Fantastic slow motion rain drops and slaps.
The film's pace doesn't let up. No lingering on anything unimportant, just scene after scene of well-shot suspense.
Definitely worth a sniff.

This film is a bit slow moving with no real payoffs, yet still manages to be pretty fun despite the lack of any decent kills. The cast of this one is really solid with Edwidge Fenech, George Hilton and the always great Ivan Rassimov holding things down. Aside from that, the music is also fantastic and the plot/ending are pretty cool. Recommended for sure, but don't buy into the hype.

Overly-convoluted considering the payoff at the end. Inspired direction, and an early trendsetter in the giallo genre, but still leaves something to be desired.

Fantastic horror/thriller with the gorgeous Edwige Fenech. Certainly one of the best Giallo's i have ever seen. A must watch if you love the genre or Italian cinema.

This looks great. I am so pleased that you are watching and cataloguing this stuff. Exploitation and non-narrative (read: experimental) cinema is are alternate (and just as valid) cinematic landscapes appreciated by so few folks. Keep up the good work!!

The more movies I watch, the fewer original ideas DePalma gets credit for.

Solid but pretty basic giallo. Couple of nice plot twists and a good looking broad - that's it. Oh yeah, score is cooool... it still keeps haunting me.

Popcorn for giallo fans - seen better, seen worse.

One of the great Giallos following a young woman who is being stalked by a vicious serial killer.. only problem is, Who is it? This film has some of the best shot compositions with a story that truly keeps you intrigued from start to finish. Oh, and the score is awesome as well.

Brilliantly shot, sexually strange, implausible twist ending. Good stuff!

Quelques très bonne scènes pour ce giallo soigné et délicieusement érotique.

for a euro sex kitten, she really wasn't that much into sex but more into freaking out about some blah blah guy named jean.

This movie has little to do with any of Mrs. Wardh's "vices," if anything it is a minor speed bump in the plotline, used and discarded-- like everything else in the film. The plot is paper-thin, as a second-thought almost, with random cuts to and from victims. The effects are horrid, even for 1970s standards, and really detract from the effect (due to elongated shots of the 'bloody' victims). The suspense is well done, but the backstory and twists of this thriller are not foreshadowed, rather a sudden ten minutes of random events followed by exposition. All in all, unless you want to see a couple beautiful women topless, there's nothing in this film.

Beautifully and skillfully filmed Giallo. Another succesful collaboration between director Sergio Martino and the lovely Edwige Fenech. Great double-twist ending.

Mesterlig giallo fra Martino, og en av mine personlige favoritter. Rett og slett en nydelig film, med et soundtrack som er like nydelig som våres kjære Edwige Fenech.

A sadomashochistic tale of murder and betrayal, done Italian style. One of my favorite gialli directed by the underrated Sergio Martino.

A very good giallo, with a great script that has a very intricate storyline (the twistiness of the end is very good and shifts just right, because a normal giallo conclusion just wouldn't cut it for this film), some incredible performances (Edwige is beautiful here, though she's still gorgeous today!), a trippy soundtrack with a memorable main theme, and some incredible visuals in Vienna and Sitges. It's a cool film, one of the better Italian thrillers of the time, and now a personal favorite of mine. Rockin'! :>

I've never been wild about Sergio Martino's gialli, and while this is one of his better ones, it still doesn't do much to grab me.
