I Was Disappointed With This B-Movie From 1986. I Wasn't Expecting A Masterpiece But Thought It Would Have Been Better. This Killer Dog Movie Is Simple And Features A Ridiculous Story Of Revenge, Greed And Black Magic. This Film Is Terrible In Every Sense From Script To Editing. But Somehow Manages To Have A Certain Quality To It Making It Very Viewable.

This movie is from the Toxie's Triple Terror, Vol. 7. Its not the worst Killer Dog movie I've seen, just a basic dog kills everyone from 1986. Yvonne De Carlo ( from the original Adams Family ) plays the mad women who magically sets her dog to kill people. Very B type Movie. 2 1/2 stars

A tv movie made to look like a horror flick it is in fact a very dull tale about gread and devil worship. Greedy aunt uses withcraft (thou its never explained how it works!) to make her dog attack members of her family so she can get the inheritance. The dog scenes are slowed down with added growling and look incredible tame and about as scary as seeing your dog carry stuff in its mouth. The cast are ok but never engaging and includes the cops that dont have a clue. No blood or excitment at all and the end is truly dire. It looks like a puppet been thrown around in slowmo. The dog just looks a bit bored rather than a threating predator and the whole thing just plods along at a snalls pace. The vhs i have of it has a lurid cover of a monkey like satan and a hot lady on it. Yeah thats not happening in this film. The back of it has photos from a completely different movie. A drab and boring affair all round.

Fun Slasher with excellent cheesy killings and a superb Yvonne De Carlo.
